St Mary’s Indian Orthodox Church

St. Mary’s Indian (Malankara) Orthodox Church, a registered charity (1149906), established in 2009 by the migrants of the Orthodox community in Oxford. We are one of the parishes in the Diocese of UK Europe Africa of the Malankara (Indian) Orthodox Church, which was established in AD 52 by St. Thomas Apostle in Kerala, India.

Spiritual Organisations

Sunday School

OSSAE is a spiritual organization functioning in all the parishes of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church which takes care of the spiritual nurturing of children, by bringing them up in the knowledge and fellowship of Jesus Christ and His Church. 

Orthodox Christian Youth Movement is the Youth-wing of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church. It contributes to the goodness and progress of the Church and community in the three-fold path of worship, study and service. It aims at moulding the minds and visions of the youth.

Marth Mariam Vanitha Samajam is the women’s wing of the Malankara Orthodox Church of India. It is one of the major spiritual organisations of the Church aimed at the spiritual development of all women members with the motto, “Pray, Act and Shine”. 

AMOSS

Akhila Malankara Orthodox Shusrushaka Sangham is a movement with the church to mould people who have God’s grace, dedication, who follow spiritual & sacramental life, and who have worldly experience to reside as servants in the sacramental service of the holy church.
